      Outstanding SW items for 2.10.0 :

      • network manager migration (readout & timing)
      • TP readout mechanism & dataformats (ongoing discussion)
      • TP stitching patch

      TPG FW integration

      • 10 link build seems to work at basic level (initially had truncation errors, now understood to be related to particular platform used for tests - now resolved)
      • Regression tests with 2 link build done, now moving on to TP tests.  Will pick up the 10 link version once it is tagged.
      • Once basic tests done with 10 link build, will move to VST.  We need to write down the list of tests to do at VST so we can repeat this properly in future (eg. after rebase etc.)

      The plan :

      • proceed with 2.10.0 (merge changes from Ivana on TP stitching, finish network manage migration, resolve TP readout/dataformats).
      • make a firmware release around the same time as 2.10.0 (does not have to be completely in sync) which includes the 10 link TPG build, with ADC readout validated on VST
      • use this FW release to verify TPG in a separate step, and issue patch releases if required

        • Working with Frans to get these changes done.
        • What timescale do we need a 4.8 Gb/s build ?  If this is needed early Jan, say, then we will need to split this task into two. (JB/RS to find out the answer)

        Kunal is adding code to dtp-simulation that will convert raw files to chunks and then WIB frames. Will follow up on slack.
