Instructions

For everyone

All participants, which include presenters and conveners, are expected to conduct themselves according to Fermilab's Statement of Community Standards.

Participants should ensure they are positioned close enough to a microphone such that all participants can hear what is said.

For participants

Due to the hybrid nature of this workshop, it can be tricky for on-site and virtual participants to be cognizant of each other's environments.  All virtual and on-site participants are expected to "raise their hands" (either through Zoom or physically, if on-site) to ask a question or make a comment.  Please wait to be recognized by the session convener before speaking.

On-site participants

When speaking, please identify yourself first for the benefit of virtual participants, who often cannot tell who is speaking on-site.

Each on-site participant must have a valid Fermilab ID or escort.  The workshop organizers should be contacted if an escort is required (knoepfel@fnal.gov or lyon@fnal.gov).

For presenters

Presenters will be expected to present their slides by sharing them through Zoom.  It is requested that a copy of the slides be posted to the presenter's indico contribution before the scheduled presentation takes place.

Presenters should expect to be gently interrupted for questions of clarification throughout their presentations.

The session convener will notify each presenter when 2 minutes remain in the allotted time slot.
