Hosted by Fermilab's Society of Women Engineers, the Collegiate Pipeline program is a year-long series of events that is aimed to showcase the various internship opportunities and engineering endeavors at the lab.

This event is OPEN to ANY undergraduate or postgraduate student pursuing a STEM career, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, disability, veteran’s status or other protected classification.

"Building Your Career with Us” is a hybrid event aimed to provides insight to Fermilab’s undergraduate opportunities. Learn about these programs as well the application processes! Meet program coordinators! Engage with Fermilab scientists and engineers!

    • Arrival OnSite

      Event attendees may enter Fermilab through either of two entrances: Pine Street in Batavia, Illinois, or the Batavia Road entrance in Warrenville, Illinois.
      The main gate at the intersection of Pine Street and Kirk Rd is strongly recommended.

      You will need to stop at the guard station at the gate and present the following:
      • informal invitation letter with a QR code, which will be emailed to you
      • a REAL ID-compliant ID (https://get-connected.fnal.gov/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/REALID-Compliant-Documents.pdf)

      Once through the security gate, you will the proceed to the Fermilab Welcome and Access Center to get your visitor badge/sticker.

    • Guided Tour: Wilson Hall & Main Control Room

      Learn more about Fermilab's history in the Wilson Hall's Atrium and Art Gallery, before heading to the 15th floor for a unique view of the lab's campus, and then take a step into the Main Control Room!
