If you will be attending in person, you will need to apply for a gate pass using the visitor form. After accepting the terms on the first page, you will need to provide a sponsor email. Please use [email protected] as our admin Ruthie will handle gate pass requests. US citizens will only need to provide information in that form and typically can get the pass in 1-2 days while foreigners will also be asked to upload a CV (just like at Fermilab).
Most foreign gate pass requests are processed within a few days but it depends a bit on your country of citizenship. Ruthie will then have to request an additional approval step for foreigners but that should normally not require any additional action on your end.
Once your gate pass is approved you will receive an email with further instructions where to go to pickup your gate pass (also what to do in case you arrive after hours). As will be described in that email, all visitors need to proceed to the main entrance on Northgate Road. Just like at Fermilab, you will need a REAL ID as described on the site entry requirements.
