• SOC  met on Tues June 25 at this (regular) time to review the schedule of both invited and contributed talks prepared by Yichao and Haijun:
  • Tentative schedule was released to entire SOC for comments and to check speakers' talk titles.  https://tianlai.bao.ac.cn/meeting/2024/program.html
  • Plan is for Yichao and Haijun to post the detailed schedule on the website soon:  https://tianlai.bao.ac.cn/meeting/2024/#
  • Peter emailed all remote speakers to confirm talk times and titles.
• Tianlai observations status - Jixia
  • Jixia and others are flying the drone to map the beams of the cylinder telescopes
  • daytime RFI from cell phone tower interferes with daytime drone measurements.  cell tower is turned off at night so drone is flown at night
  • constant-dec drift scans with dishes need to wait until drone work in finished
• No updates on WIYN survey paper
• After the meeting, Shifan shared notes related to a question asked by Reza about the cylinder coupling paper  (notes attached below).
