Trigger
- New MLT feature: allowing different readout windows for different detector types (TPC, PDS, CRT etc).
- New MLT feature: option to discard TriggerCandidates that overlap with already-made TriggerDecision (e.g. pileup)
- Ongoing TPG tests: StandardThreshold algorithm allows for lower ADC thresholds than StandardRS on the np04 computing resources.
- Ongoing comparisons of tpg algorithms.
Timing
Hardware:
- FIB v2 ( pre-production ) boards due in Bristol 20/July (couple of day's delay due to BoM error. Some rework in house will be needed)
- MIB v3 (pre-production ) design finished. Waiting for completion of MIB v2 debugging before manufacture (some h/ware bugs discovered in process of debugging MMC, want to check there aren't any more)
- I2C link between crate controller and module management uController established. MIB MMC can negotiate with MCH/PSUs. ---> No longer need external PSU to power MIB in crate. Temperature/Current/Voltage sensors being commissioned.
- Request for quotes for "DUNE variant" AFCs sent out. No reply from Creotech yet. three "decline to quote".
- "VD TDE" design uTCA crate due in Bristol ~ end of July
ProtoDUNE:
- Clock/timestamp being received by all readout/calibration units on NP04
- Return path working on CALCI , CTB and DAPHNE
- SSP return path not working. WIBs need updated f/ware
- Running "endpoint monitoring service" with subset of endpoints.
- No "show stopping" issues reported so far.....
- Restarted 10MHz/1PPS to VD TDE. E-mailed Dario requesting check. No reply yet.
- On site hardware support schedule almost final. Setting up "expert on call" (CERN)Phone line in progress.
- For NP02 we will use splitters with ST (rather than LC connectors) to avoid continual problems with UPC fibres being plugged into APC splitters.
Firmware:
- Debugging GIB f/ware restarting (IRIG time stamp setting)
DUNEDAQ:
- Porting to OKS continues ( Work on 5.x release)
