SITE ACCESS PROCESS

If you are already a Fermilab Affilliate/User with an ID badge valid through November 23, you have the required access and are ready to attend the school!  All others read below:

You must obtain access approval before arriving onsite (see Details to Complete Your Access Form below).

The access approval process could take anywhere from a few days and up to four weeks depending on the specific situation, so we encourage you to register early.

Upon approval, you will receive an informal invitation (for US citizens) or a formal invitation (for non-US citizens) with a QR code. 

You can check your site access status using your access request number: ServiceNow (servicenowservices.com)

As a student who will be on-site for more than one week, choose the Affiliate/User request option.

As a lecturer/speaker who will be on-site temporarily, choose the Business Visitor request option.


For the User Affiliation section, indicate "EDIT 2024" as an affiliation and Petra Merkel as point of contact.  Indicate the appropriate Professional Class (Visiting Student - University - Non-Thesis), and the research you will work on is "Student at the EDIT 2024 school"


Indicate the dates of the school as the computing system and physical access dates. You will be continuously at the Batavia site


Please select WH 1, WH 8X, WH 15, MESON DET BLDG, PROTON ASSY BLDG, SILICON DET FAC, IERC as work locations.
