I've finally received Quantum Espresso information from Julian (how it was compiled, serial vs. parallel, what worked for him and what didn't, etc). I would like to test it out and add it to the modules.
Suchandra: Working from a list of xsede software. List still needs some pruning. Will circulate it soon, when it's ready. (list)
Added Octave to the modules, and added some support scripts for synching module files with github (prep_modulefiles).
Will soon be adding some README documentation (recipes) for building packages.
Emelie: Derek suggested not requiring users to source a bash script before loading modules. Implemented at Glidein frontends. Emelie will email Mats and ask him if this is possible.
