Minutes of the ELBNF phone meeting of 6 March
1. Naming Contest
Dan Cherdack reported that there were 368
votes in the final round. DUNE (Deep Underground
Neutrino Experiment) was the clear leader in the first
round, but due to travel he didn't have the final tally
yet. LEONARDO was second and BLADE and NEBULA were
close behind.
2. The end time for the cospokesperson election
was clarified as 11:50 pm Monday Evening US Central
Time on 9 March.
3. Maury Goodman asked for anyone with summer visitors
to send him a list so he could respond to a request for
planning office space at Fermilab. A question was asked
if Russian citizens were able to visit Fermilab and
Fermilab Director Nigel Lockyer said it was no problem.
4. Joe Lykken reported on progress of the iEFIG and his
slides are in the INDICO page.

Work had been done on a number of civil construction options
and the preference was for option 5a. This will likely be
selected at the next iEFIG meeting on Monday.
A question arose whether we need the second cryostat before
the first detector is turned on. Project Direct McCluskey
noted that this is a risk mitigation strategy to have a
place to move the Argon if needed.
People are invited to give opinions to the iEFIG members
before Monday.
5. Next week's meeting, 13 March will be an IB meeting.
20 March will be a collaboration phone call.
