The inaugural DOE topical collaboration meeting “Nuclear Theory for Double-Beta Decay and Fundamental Symmetries” will be held on August 1st and 2nd, 2016 at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) in East Lansing, Michigan.


The goals of the meeting are to discuss progress made in the first year of the collaboration, and to plan for the first benchmark calculations of nuclear matrix elements to be initiated in the remainder of Year 1.
 
 
The meeting will start at 9am on August 1st, and will end in the afternoon of on August 2nd.
It will comprise of a small number of talks limited to the morning session followed by time in the afternoon to discuss, collaborate, and progress towards the above defined goal.
