Crew Chief

• See slide. MI transductor electronics issue. Vacuum pump changout on RFQ. Tuning in progress.

Operations Coordinator

Linac

• Referred to the RFQ vacuum pump replacement. Otherwise running well.

Booster

• See slide. Running well.

Main Injector & Recycler

• See slides. Discussion about MI-60N ground fault/buss work issues.

NuMI

• Running well.

NuMI Experiments

• Running well.

Booster Neutrino

• Running well.

BNB Experiments

• Running well.

Muon Rings

• Working on shunts this morning. May take beam this afernoon. Still a number of things not ready for coasting beam in the Delivery ring. Good news - EE support able to pulse Pmag. Plan to take low power beam to target if applicable.

MTA

• In between experimental runs, waiting for approval. Cavity is running successfully.

SY120, Neutrino Muon, Meson Test, Meson Center

• Thanks to MI & MSD for vacuum work in MI-52 region. Tuesday Code 1 at SSB fire alarm for building ceiling heater failure. No damage at SSB other than the heater. Meson beamline off yesterday for experimets install. (M03 & MC6?) Commisioning of M03 exp. went well last night. Thanks to ops for beam setup & tuning. Installed temperature sensor on M01 target. FESS borescoped F2 sump line.

SY120 Experiments

• Thanks to Michael & Adam for help with M03 experiment installation. Six (6) experiments installed! Maybe a record in MI Fixed target era.

FAST

• Transverse profile monitor installation continues. Vacuum techs removed xray equipt. from 50 Mev line. Controller board for chiller died. New board installation today. ODH class 1 next week.

PIP-II Injector Test

• Shutdown continues. Most girders are populated. Meson 3rd cavity installed & under vacuum. Maybe testing next week.

Alignment

• Provided support for CMTF - Laser scanning.

Controls

• Repeater power supply failure @ F-27.

Cryo

• Meson frig is cold. Transfer line is filled with LHe. Vacuum running. Some issues with discharge water pressure, FESS is investigating. Decontam SGC. G-1 wet engine failed. Felts not properly filled with grease. CMTF is cold and running well. NML, FAST Lab B ready. MTA cold and running well.

ES&H

• MI-12 investigation continues.

EE Support

• Discussion about the MI transductor electronics replacement. MI 60 S water on floor, 2 hr opt

Instrumentation

• Found problem with booster toroid, loose solder connection.

Mechanical & Fluids

• IP829 faulted. MC7 chiller under repair. Under vac today adding refrigerant later.

RF

• MI, RR & BRF running well.

FESS

• Awaiting details on Comm Ed switch.

Summer Shutdown 2017

• Still some manpower issues. Overall in fairly good shape. Short maybe 3 or 4 people. Worklist reminder.

Miscellaneous

• Discussion on hot Comm Ed switch. See Slides. Main plan - shutdown & access day on Monday May 15th IF schedule holds up.
