- Want to try out the QDMA software.
- Reading docs for QDMA driver. Next step is to try using it.
- Have U50 at Oxford. Reference design uses XDMA, but will try it out anyway.

- Looking at QDMA firmware.
- Much more complex than XDMA, need to understand details
- There is an auto-generated example design, tried compiling it, have loaded bitfile to U50.
- Can send this to Giles. But easy to build, but just need to pull one signal low.
- Currently having issues with permissions etc.

- Tech student at CERN should be available to work on software/integration etc for 6 months.
- In the interests of getting something done quick, would it makes sense to use two separate PCIe Gen4 instances for data and control ?
- Jim will contact Tom Williams/Alessandro to come and talk about ipBus and how it has been integrated with PCIe
