Employees, managers, technical and non-technical staff sometimes need to build consensus for new procedures or policies. This workshop provides tools and structure for doing ‘inside discovery interviewing’ within Fermilab.
Participants discuss, discover and test the influence networks which make organizations work: large organizations often have procedures and people who manage, facilitate and enhance the ‘regular business’ of the organization, but they may inhibit cultural adaptation and change.
The “Innovation for Everyone” virtual workshop will be taught by Todd Morrill who actively consults with National Science Foundation, Department of Energy and National Institutes of Health designing and executing programs that increase the rate of commercialization of academic research and increase the diversity of successful scientist-engineer-entrepreneurs.
This workshop is especially valuable for Fermilab employees to encourage innovation and allow entrepreneurship which aligns with Fermilab's mission and DOE program objectives.
