The 26th LARP Hi Lumi collaboration meeting will be held in the Kavli Auditorium located just to the west of the recently constructed SLAC User Support Building that now dominates the main entrance to SLAC. The meeting will follow the traditional collaboration meeting format. There will be plenary presentations on Wednesday May 18, including talks by potential new Toohig Fellow finalist candidates. Parallel sessions are foreseen for Thursday May 19 and a final plenary session on Friday morning May 20. On the afternoon of May 20 interested parties will stay to discuss and develop a proposal for a continued LHC Accelerator Research program that would, if funded, be executed in parallel with the US LHC Hi Lumi Upgrade Project. A final agenda is now available. A no-host dinner has been organized for Wednesday evening. See the "Collaboration Dinner" link for more details. Please sign up for this dinner when you register.

7 April, 16:00 PDT: All 10 rooms have been taken. I have spoken to the desk to confirm the names of the lucky 10. I am told that our meeting now has priority and that people on the waiting list will be contacted if there are cancellations.

7 April, 14:50 PDT: 10 Rooms at the SLAC Guest House have just been made available to our meeting in the period May 14-20 at the rate of $151.00/night. These will be released on April 14 so act fast if you would like one. The group code is LARPHILUMI0516. Contact info for the Guest House is under the accomodations link. Call them if you want to arrive earlier or stay later: may be possible.

Heavy demand at the SLAC Guest House the week of May 16-20 has precluded a guaranteed reservation on site for the LARP meeting. The management of the Guest House has informed us that they expect all their rooms to be reserved. Nonetheless, you are advised to put yourself on the Guest House waiting list now. In the accommodation link you will find that we have booked a large block of rooms for LARP at a hotel in Sunnyvale that SLAC and Stanford has been using. While not cheap, the cost is not as outrageous as that quoted by most of the Palo Alto and Menlo Park hotels. Links to information on local (Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Redwood City, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, etc.) lodging and a short survey of the cost/availability of 6-8 local establishments made in late February, as well as the contact info for the guest house can be found under the accommodations link.
