Travel Information

The school will take place in East Lansing, MI, USA at the NSCL/FRIB Laboratory on the campus of Michigan State University.

 

East Lansing is served by several major airports:

  1. Taxi cabs are usually available upon arrival and there is a direct line inside the baggage claim to call for a taxi. It is about 10 miles from the airport to the NSCL/FRIB Laboratory. The fare is about $20 USD.

  2. Rental cars are available in the baggage claim area.

  1. Taxi cabs are always available upon arrival. You can get a traditional taxi right outside the arrival terminals. Luxury sedan transportation can be scheduled prior to your arrival by calling Metro Cab at +1 (616) 827-6500. It is about 65 miles from the airport to the NSCL/FRIB lab. The traditional taxi fare is about $125 USD and the luxury sedan fare is a flat rate of $144 USD.
