We continue to review all events currently planned for the next sixty days and organizers will be notified if their event must be canceled, postponed, or held remotely. Please, check back on Indico during this time for updates regarding your meeting specifics.
As DOE O 142.3A, Unclassified Foreign Visits and Assignments Program (FVA) applies not only to physical access to DOE sites, technologies, and equipment, but also information, all remote events hosted by Fermilab must comply with FVA requirements. This includes participant registration and agenda review. Please contact Melissa Ormond, FVA Manager, with any questions.

Indico search will be reestablished in the next version upgrade of the software: https://getindico.io/roadmap/

This search is only for public events. Restricted events are not available.

Downtown Buffalo has many options for hotels to cover a wide range of budgets. As the venue has a metro station it is readily accessible from a wide range of downtown hotels.

There are several hotels within a short walk from the venue, the nearest hotel is the Wyndham, which also has a special rate negotiated with UB of $108 per night. Please note that this is the UB rate, not the conference rate, so when you book the room please ask for the University at Buffalo (or UB) rate and not QCD@LHC.

Another hotel nearby is the Residence Inn by Marriott, which has a UB negotiated rate of $148 per night. In order to get the special rate you have to directly book from the hotel using the numbers below. If you have any questions please contact the organziers.

Wyndham- 716-845-0112

Residence Inn by Marriott- 716-247-5252

Beware Scams : The hotel will not contact you and ask for money, other conferences have experienced scams in which scammers rip info from the partipcant list and use this to attempt to extort money by pretending to be one of hte conference hotels.
