Optomechanics for dark matter detection - 2nd edition

US/Eastern
Online only -- zoom coordinates will be provided nearer to the date.
Cindy Regal (JILA/Boulder), Daniel Carney, David Moore (Yale University), Gordan Krnjaic (Johns Hopkins, Fermilab)
Description

This workshop is the second meeting focused on optomechanical (quantum and classical) architectures for dark matter detection. It is meant as a short follow-up to the previous iteration, held at the University of Maryland in 2019.

To the extent possible with a zoom-based workshop, we are aiming for an informal environment. All talks are 15 minutes + 10 minutes discussion, with breaks, to facilitate open dialogue. The workshop is open to anyone interested.

A list of talks can be found under "timetable (detailed view)".

Note added: the video recordings from all talks are now available. To see them, click the paper clip icon in the top-right corner of each talk in the timetable linked above.
