TSIB High Power Targetry Lab preliminary design review

US/Central
Description

The new High Power Targetry (HPT) Laboratory at Fermilab is part of a larger building project, The Target Systems Integration Building (TSIB) which will provide a facility for building devices and support the construction and installation of the Long Baseline Neutrino Facility (LBNF).

The proposed HPT Lab addresses the need on High Power Targetry to support development of current and next generation accelerators at Fermilab. It will include a hot lab with a hot cell suite, as well as a cold testing lab, a microscopy lab and a novel material and technology lab.

This preliminary design review of the lab aims to review the progress on the design of the HPT lab since the conceptual design held on April 1st 2021.
