Getting around in Bern:
Most places in Bern can be reached by foot. Connections for public transport (bus and tram) can be checked on sbb.ch or Google maps.
The physics institute is located in the building “ExWi Exakte Wissenschaften” just above the main train station (5 min walk).  The main bus/tram stop is called "Bern, Bahnhof". The easiest way to get to ExWi is to take the lift in the train station subway to the top floor. The lift is located next to the tracks 12/13 at the end of the subway.
