Description
The quantum link approach to lattice field theory
represents scalar, gauge and Dirac fields in terms of single bit/qbit fermion
operators. This representation is universally equivalent
to conventional lattice methods for asymptotically free 2D sigma models
and 4D gauge theories. I will discuss the prospect for quantum links
as a natural basis of quantum computing.
