PPD updates (Cristian):
-meaning of early and late deliveries to be revised per David's requests
- European PPDs to be completed soon
- COVID-19 impact not included yet
Cavity/couplers (Donato/Mattia):
- Epdms on TC reorganized for SSRs cryomodule: 1 for each cryomodule containing all info and all references to document, available to partners
- Nb procurement from Ningxia on-going, waiting for samples at FNAL to OK the shipment, production to be finished by the end of summer at latest (August, September)
- Updated 3D SSR2 model changes explained by Mattia, only minor modifications, reflected in the new drawing package shared with he partners
Solenoids (Stoyan):
- Final Design Review to be held in July, ICD and drawings needed prior to holding the review
Couplers (Donato):
- Addressing review recommendations, about to release the full drawings and procurement package, all partners will receive it shortly
BARC updates (Srinivas, Vinay, Rajesh):
- BARC still working from home, all activities are currently paused
- SSR2 drawing package received, Nb-Ti welds drawings released,
- SSR2 couplers RF simulations on going, SSR1 coupler fabrication started, but all activities are paused because of lock-down, braze joint was identified as a critical part and process, one trial was successful; Vinay asked for sharing the brazing fixture used for SSR1 couplers, unfortunately it is proprietary of SSR1 coupler vendor/manufacturer, not done at FNAL
IJCLAB updates (David et al.):
- Cavitiy: slow down of all activities due to covid-19, tooling activities are resumed, RF PU and VTS unity coupler design on-going
- Couplers: comments were sent to FNAL, participation to FDR, technical spec is being written in French to start procurement soon
- Tuner limit switch design in progress
Action Items:
- Clarify Ti SSR2 prototypes (2) to BARC: it did not appear in addendum I tables, but it does appear in the word file
- Clarify SSR2 solenoid drawings: BARC does not usually release/share 2D drawings, potential impediment for solenoid FDR
