How to Request Site Access to Fermilab

You must obtain access approval before arriving onsite. Upon arrival at Fermilab, you will be requested to show a Real ID and the QR code that Fermilab sent you via email when your access request was approved.

The access approval process could take anywhere from a few days up to four weeks depending on the specific situation, so we encourage you to register to the workshop as soon as possible.

For the participants to the TTC Workshop, an access request will be automatically created for you when you register to the workshop. You will receive an email from Fermilab Service Desk <fermi@servicenowservices.com> containing your access request number. After the access request has been automatically created, foreign nationals will be contacted by Fermilab via email to gather further information.

Relevant information can also be found here: https://get-connected.fnal.gov/accessandbadging/visitors/

Upon approval, you will receive an informal invitation (for US citizens) or a formal invitation (for non-US citizens).

You can check your site access status using your access request number: ServiceNow (servicenowservices.com)
