The I-94 is the Arrival/Departure Record that proves your legal-visitor status. It is issued by a Customs and Boarder Protection (CBP) officer to foreign visitors upon their arrival to the U.S.

The electronic form is available to you immediately through the CBP I-94 website or CBP One™ mobile app once you go through U.S. Customs.

There are two types of B visas:
- B-1 is for business visitors
- B-2 is for tourists
If you want to visit Fermilab in a professional capacity, you MUST be admitted into the U.S. in B-1 status.
