Travel Support

In order to facilitate in-person participation in this Town Hall for Early Career members of our community, the University Research Association (URA) is offering up to $1,000 in travel funds for approximately 20 people. The application form can be found at this link. While we will prioritize applications from Early Career members up to and including the postdoc level, we will accept applications from any community member who does not yet hold a permanent, tenured position (or equivalent at a National Lab). Other factors that will be considered are previous involvement in Snowmass or P5, any other service to the physics community, and access to other travel support. Applications from individuals belonging to groups traditionally underrepresented in physics, such as women and LGBT+ scientists, scientists who are Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), scientists who are disabled, etc, are especially encouraged.

The application is due by 11:59pm PT on 11/14. Awardees should be notified by 11/17. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Kelly Stifter ([email protected]) or John Stupak ([email protected]).
