Description
A two-day status & road map meeting for recently-funded DOE/SC/ASCR network research projects that focus on Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies. Projects will be presented, and opportunities for cooperation and/or collaboration will be discussed. The meeting is a "by invitation" event.
Location/Dates: The meeting will be hosted at Fermilab, in Batavia, Illinois. General information on visiting Fermilab, including site access, maps, and directions is available at: http://www.fnal.gov/pub/visiting/hours/
Site Access Requirements: No gate passes or badges are required to enter the Fermilab site, or go to the meeting location(s). A valid photo ID, such as a driver's license, will need to be provided at the gate. The gate guard can provide directions to the meeting site. ("Fermilab Wilson Hall' also works fine with Google maps...)
Meeting Room(s): The meeting will be held in Wilson Hall, the 16-story high rise building that dominates the site. On Wednesday, the meeting will be held in the Wilson Hall 1 East Conference Room, on the east side of the Wilson Hall atrium, adjacent to the elevators. On Thursday, the meeting will be held in the Comitium Conference Room, which is located on the 2nd floor of Wilson Hall, in the south east corner (directly above the cafeteria).

The meeting room for Thursday (2/18) does not have video conferencing facilities; audio/web (slides) conferencing services via the ZOOM dial-in logistics listed above.
Parking: There is ample open parking around Wilson Hall. Please note (and avoid...) the 2 hour parking slots immediately in front of and directly along the sides of Wilson Hall.
Suggested Lodging: Comfort Inn Suites; Geneva, Illinois. It is located approximately 3 miles from the Laboratory. They offer a Fermilab rate of $78/night for a standard room, and $84 for king suite. You will need to ask for the Fermilab rate when making the reservation [(630) 208-8811]; you can not use their online reservation or 800 number to get it.
