NuMI Experiments
NOvA running well, taking cosmics, good uptime with both detectors and continuing to take advantage of downtime to do work. Continuing to work on ArgonCube (as mentioned previously, modules all installed and electronics work continues, some testing is waiting for return of beam). NEXUS and SENSEI doing well. MAGIS preparing for laser room work. QUIET (quantum cleanroom) continuing to do preparations, in particular electronics work and working on upgrades to the NEXUS chiller which they will share when they run. Tom Wicks’ crew continues to help us move and clear equipment, big thanks. Discussing impact of rad safety impacted policy to Underground. As mentioned previously, during NuMI horn move tomorrow we are prohibiting access to Underground.
