This workshop will provide, within the framework of the "Snowmass" Community Summer Study, an evaluation of the Detector R&D program being carried out in support of the High Energy Physics science mission, to determine if the existing program meets the science needs of the Energy, Intensity, and Cosmic Frontiers, and to identify instrumentation opportunities to enhance the program as an enabler of our science.
